Barnes and Noble Refuses To Stock O.J. Book

Barnes and Noble has confirmed that they will not carry the O.J. Simpson book, “If I Did It.”

They have stated that the chain will not carry the book in their retail stores, online store, or offer it as a special order item. Basically Barnes and Noble is stating that they want absolutely no part of the book and for their consumer’s interest, they will not have it available.

Spokeswoman Mary Ellen Keating stated that “Our buyers don’t feel there will be enough of a demand to carry it in our stores.”

“If I Did It” is a ghostwritten story of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. It is a fictional story as O.J. describes how he, or how he would have done the killings if he were guilty.

Borders Group Inc. has stated they will carry the book. It was originally supposed to release last November but was dropped in response to outrage at the publisher ReganBooks.
